TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
Throughout the nation, people are talking about the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Study because study findings reveal this is the largest public health discovery of our time. In any great public health discovery the most important actions are to share the findings and to promote changes without ourself and our spheres of influence.
The ACE Interface Train the Master Trainer Program is designed to support rapid dissemination of ACE and resilience science, and promote understanding and application of the science to improve health and wellbeing across the lifespan. More than 30 local community members have been trained as ACE Interface Master Trainer/Coaches and are committed to sharing this science within our community. ACE Interface Master Trainer/Coaches have a vital role in sparking a new social movement – one with the power to transform the future of the public’s health.
We encourage you to join us for any of the bi-weekly drop-in sessions to learn more about this ground-breaking science. For more information email ThriveAces@nvcf.org

In partnership with the Training Center at Butte College we are excited to offer the Community Resilience Model training (CRM). The Community Resiliency Model (CRM)®—is designed to help individuals understand the biology of traumatic stress reactions and learn specific skills to return the body, mind and spirit back to balance after experiencing traumatic events. These skills help to restore the hope that many people lose after natural and human- made disasters.
There are multiple CRM sessions available. Email thetrainingplace@butte.edu or call 895-9015 for more information.
