Hola! My name is Jose Rangel but I go by Pepe. I was born in Chico, California but moved to Austin, Texas when I was 14 and just recently moved back to Chico last summer. I graduated from Campbell University in North Carolina with a degree in Sport Management. I have worked with students my entire professional career, from being a 4th grade bilingual teacher in Del Valle, Texas to coaching soccer to boys and girls of all ages. During this time I have learned the importance of being part of your community and having a positive impact on each other. Working with youth puts a smile on my face because you are the future leaders of this community. I am beyond excited to be part of the CARE Team!

Some of my hobbies include running, playing sports, trying new food and spending quality time with my family and golden retriever, Ross. As I look forward to the next part of my journey, I will strive to be the vulnerable and most authentic Coach I can possibly be.
