John Luallen Memorial Scholarship for Industrial Arts
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for consideration for an award the applicant must be:
• Graduating from Orland High School, or a junior attending community college as a senior
• Enrolling in a training program for industrial arts, construction management, welding or other labor-related programs
Must Provide
• An essay of no more than 500 words on the following prompt:
Please include why you are pursuing the training or program you are interested in. Who inspired you, and what do you imagine yourself doing with the education you receive in the future?
• Two letters of recommendation: One from a teacher and one from a work or volunteer supervisor
• High school transcripts
