Join us in January 2024 for an immersive weeklong collaborative leadership training program designed exclusively for rising and existing leaders in the nonprofit sector. At the Nonprofit Institute, we're passionate about equipping leaders with the practical models, tools and skills needed to drive real impact and effectively navigate the challenges of the ever-evolving nonprofit landscape.
After the Dec. 8 meeting in Chico for introductions and to get a jump start on the training, the weeklong training is entirely in Grass Valley, with lodging and meetings at the Gold Miners’ Inn. It is essential that all participants attend the entire experience and spend the nights of Jan. 8-11 in Grass Valley. The week will be filled with seasoned coaches and facilitators focused on topics of unique significance to the broad range of nonprofits in our region, whether new or decades old, whether run by professionals or leaders emerging with the organization, whether small or large. Sessions will be content rich and interactive, promising state-of-the-art best practices and hands-on integration into your unique challenges and opportunities. Topics will include leadership, personal strengths, team building, collaboration, board and staff relations, governance, management and revenue generation. This program is designed for top leadership staff and volunteers, rising leaders who are active in their community and board members. We imagine a group of approximately 25 participants: young and old, seasoned and early career, from towns throughout Butte County, representing organizations invested in improving our communities. Our program goes beyond traditional training by fostering interactive assimilation of cutting-edge ideas and methods. Through a dynamic blend of workshops, case studies and experiential learning, participants gain invaluable insights and strategies that can be immediately applied to their roles. One of the key strengths of the Nonprofit Institute lies in its ability to forge powerful connections and collaborations. By bringing together a diverse group of leaders, we facilitate meaningful networking opportunities, enabling the exchange of ideas and the creation of lasting partnerships that extend beyond the program. Moreover, our commitment to regional health, growth and resilience is at the core of our program. We tackle the unique challenges and leverage the untapped opportunities within our community, empowering leaders to make a difference. From accessing essential resources to developing new skills, the Nonprofit Institute enables you to elevate your impact and contribute to the greater good.
