American Fitness Contests donates to Camp Fire relief
Funds raised from the American Fitness Contests’ Kids Adventure Course and the Sierra Nevada Classic Fitness Expo were presented to the NVCF and the Butte Strong Fund. Both events helped raise over $1,600.

Celebration Chico is being held on Saturday, Sept. 28. The celebration intends to benefit the Celebration Compassion Fund for Enloe Regional Cancer Center cancer patients. Celebration is a charitable fund of the North Valley Community Foundation.

FHLBank San Francisco Awards $781,250 in Grants for Five Disaster Recovery and Resiliency Initiatives in California
The Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco has provided $781,250 in grants for for disaster recovery initiatives in Northern California. The Bank, to date, have pledged $625,500 to a number of organizations, one of them being the NVCF.
New ice cream store Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab coming to downtown Chico
Proceeds from sales during the Thursday, Sept. 26 opening will be donated to the NVCF’s Camp Fire Relief Fund.
