A LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
BY YOUTH FOR YOUTH
NVCF’s Youth Action Project is thrilled to invite Butte County student leadership classes and clubs grades 6–12 to Hometown Heroes, a free dynamic youth leadership summit developed and facilitated by the Youth Advisory Council at North Valley Community Foundation.
This interactive, free event for selected student groups empowers students to discover how everyday choices, acts of kindness and student-driven projects can make a lasting impact.
Interest applications are open now through Friday, Sept. 11.
Selected groups will be notified by Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Free catered lunch: Includes sandwiches, wraps, chips and dessert
Conference materials: Youth leadership journals,
T-shirt, project boards
Financial stipends for one staff advisor per group (each student group is required to have at least one school staff attending and participating)

11:15 a.m.: Session One: Leadership Styles in Action: Who's Who in the Super Hero Zoo and Team Activities
12:15 p.m.: Group lunch (food provided)
12:45 p.m.: Session Two: Group service project with Foster Love
1:30 p.m.: Youth Video Diary Series Screening
2 p.m.: Session Three: Leadership Goal-Setting Studio
3 p.m.: Student Leadership Awards

Hometown Heroes is facilitated and developed by the Youth Advisory Council at North Valley Community Foundation.
