The team at NVCF has been working hard to implement the Advisor Portal system to provide our fund advisors with up-to-the-minute information on their accounts. We are excited to launch this system in its current iteration and ask for your continued patience as we bring additional features online over the coming months.
Here's how to get started!
Establish your password
You will receive an email from sender “firstname.lastname@example.org.” You will notice “North Valley Community Foundation” referenced in the email’s subject line. Follow the instructions to create a password for your account. Take note of your username (which is your email address) and password as you complete this process.
Access the system
To access the portal at any time, simply go to www.nvcf.org and click “Advisor Portal” in the upper right-hand corner of the homepage. Enter your username and password, and then select the fund you’d like to review.
Use the system
The main screen provides an at-a-glance list of recent contributions received into the account and recent grants paid out of the account. You will also see the current balance, updated in real-time, and the current fund advisors will be indicated just below the balance. Note that each person listed will have similar access to the Advisor Portal.
Frequently Asked Questions
I don’t see a recent expense reflected in my fund activity. Where is it?
You will see transactions in your portal the moment they are recorded by our staff. If you don’t see a specific donation or grant/expense, it is likely still in the process of data entry. If a day or so has passed and you still don’t see your transaction, please contact Karsen Bradley at email@example.com.
I’ve lost my password. What should I do?
For security, the NVCF team cannot view your password. If you lose track of your password, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to reset it.

Allows you to select a different account for which you serve as an advisor.
Provides in-depth information regarding each contribution received into the charitable account. You will note that an “Export” option appears on the far right side of the menu bar, which can be used to export information about each donation into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
Provides more detail about all grants paid from this charitable account. The top section provides a summary of grants by recipient (aka, grantee). Scroll down past the summary section to see an itemized list of grants paid in descending order (most recent first).
Look for the word “Complete” in the Status column to know the grant has been paid.
Other status indicators will appear as the grant moves along our internal processes. Only the status “Complete” confirms that a grant has been successfully paid. Contact the NVCF team for questions about grant status indicators.
Fund statements are archived in one convenient location that can be accessed at any time by any of the fund advisors.
