illuminAid Support Fund

illuminAid's mission is to help in educating the world’s poorest billion people through low-cost video technology. illuminAid envisions a world where electricity, illiteracy, location, language and materials are no longer barriers to positive social change. Through locally created video instruction, small improvements in knowledge dissemination can fuel this progress for individuals and communities. Each person deserves the opportunity to improve their life through education. Each person should be able to learn within a community–regardless of language, literacy, or location. Each person should receive highly-relevant instruction from the best teachers in the community. Each person should benefit from efficient and effective instruction through video technologies.

Note to donors: North Valley Community Foundation (NVCF) provides this page for the convenience of the charitable organization noted above. Donors are provided an electronic tax receipt by NVCF shortly after the donation is made. An administrative fee of 2% is deducted from the donation as well as the fee charged by the card processing company, and the net amount is sent to the charitable organization not later than 30 days after the end of the month in which the donation is made. All amounts sent to the charitable organization are for its discretionary use.
