Message to Donors

The Ed Anderson “Tee to Green” Charitable Fund was established through the North Valley Community Foundation by Ed’s many friends to recognize his significant contributions to our community. Ed has served the North Valley in numerous capacities, including his work as a Rotarian, civil engineer, author, and golf columnist for the Enterprise-Record.

The fund's name, “Tee to Green,” highlights his 22 years of writing a weekly golf column that kept the community informed of the achievements of local golfers. It is voluntary contributions like Ed's that make Chico such a special place.

Fund Purpose

The primary purpose of the Fund shall be to support 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations as well as charitable projects and programs within the scope of Code section 170(c)(1) or (2)(B) that is consistent with the exempt purposes of the Foundation.
