For more than 50 years, the Downtown Chico Business Association (DCBA) has worked to keep Downtown Chico the heart of our community—a vibrant place to shop, dine, gather, and celebrate local culture. As Chico continues to grow and change, the revitalization of our downtown is more important than ever.

Our mission is to improve, promote, and enhance the experience and identity of Downtown Chico through four key areas: organizational rebuilding, marketing and communications, events and promotions, and placemaking. These initiatives strengthen our small businesses, highlight the arts and culture that make Chico unique, and ensure our downtown remains a welcoming destination for everyone.
