CORE Butte's Sports Complex Project: Empowering Students, Enriching Our Community
CORE Butte Charter School is a free, public, personalized learning school. Our TK-8 center offers enrichment classes and supports families home-schooling their children, while our high school follows a college-model approach, providing college prep courses, dual enrollment opportunities, student leadership, FFA and athletics. Every student benefits from a personalized educational program designed and supported by California credentialed teachers.
Now, we are excited to expand opportunities for our students and the community with the CORE Butte Sports Complex. This long-awaited facility will feature full-sized soccer and softball fields, a CIF-compliant rubberized track, and accommodations for all field events. Thanks to generous support, Phase One is fully funded and set for completion this fall, creating a high-quality space for student-athletes to train and compete while fostering community engagement.
Looking ahead, we aim to enhance the complex with landscaping, athletic training facilities, and a concession stand. Every donation helps bring this vision to life, ensuring a premier space for students, families, and the community. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charter school, all contributions are tax-deductible and can be made directly to CORE Butte Charter School or through our North Valley Community Foundation fund. Note to donors: North Valley Community Foundation (NVCF) provides this page for the convenience of the charitable organization noted above. Donors are provided an electronic tax receipt by NVCF shortly after the donation is made. An administrative fee of 5% is deducted from the donation as well as the fee charged by the card processing company, and the net amount is sent to the charitable organization not later than 30 days after the end of the month in which the donation is made. All amounts sent to the charitable organization are for its discretionary use.
