Fund Purpose
Contributions to the Bidwell Junior High School Foundation Endowment Fund will help establish a permanent source of funding for the Bidwell Junior High School Foundation. The mission of the Bidwell Junior High School Foundation is to provide resources for the enhancement of the academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular learning opportunities for students at Bidwell Junior High School.

Currently, all Bidwell Junior High School staff grant requests are funded by the Friends of Bidwell annual donations to the Foundation’s General Fund. The goal of the Bidwell Junior High School Foundation John Schulz and Linda Wilbur Endowment Fund, named in honor of two long-time Bidwell staff members, is to build a sufficient balance so that the General Fund can be supported by the earned dividends and investment income received, thus eliminating the need for annual fundraising. We are off to a promising start, but self-sufficiency is a lofty goal, which will take time, and contributions to the Endowment will help to achieve this objective.
