Fund Purpose

The BCOE Arts Education Foundation (BCOE-AEF) supports Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) programs and activities that maximize academic achievement and educational enrichment for all students in Butte County.

The BCOE Arts Education Foundation is committed to: Establish and support PreK-12 Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) programs and activities that maximize academic achievement and educational enrichment for students within Butte County such as: countywide student art shows, performances, and events; student VAPA awards and scholarships as well as art and music materials and resources for students and professional development for teachers via annual mini grants. Strengthen and support VAPA collaborations and partnerships among BCOE, businesses, foundations, art organizations, teaching artists, and families. Solicit grants, donations, charitable contributions and raise funds to support the VAPA endeavors in Butte County School Districts. The Butte County Office of Education Arts Education Foundation (BCOE-AEF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity, was chartered in the spring of 2014 as a component fund of the North Valley Community Foundation (NVCF).
