NVCF connects good people to good deeds in the region, nation and world.

Wildfire Relief and Recovery Fund

Our neighbors need help. The North Valley Community Foundation has activated its Wildfire Relief and Recovery Fund to support those displaced by wildfires, including the lightning fires in Glenn and Tehama counties.

This fund will raise money to support nonprofits and agencies providing immediate assistance to evacuees, animals and others impacted by the fires in Glenn and Tehama counties and will expand as needed to support those displaced by the recent fires in our area.

Butte Strong Fund

We have existed as the North Valley’s hub for philanthropy for more than 30 years and also frequently opened funds for people to contribute to disaster relief in our area and other areas.

The tables drastically turned on Nov. 8, 2018, when the disaster came to the North Valley. The day of the fire, we began the work of relief and recovery in the North Valley region.

NVCF collects a 1% administrative fee on donations to the Butte Strong Fund to support our operations but ongoing funding for our vital work is necessary.

NVCF Operating Fund

The North Valley Community Foundation provides visionary community leadership by identifying emerging challenges in our region. NVCF brings together diverse groups of problem-solvers, mobilizes resources, and equips community leaders.

We build and energize a community of engaged citizens and philanthropists who strengthen the common good.

Our Funds

We are home to hundreds of funds created by people with a dream to help the world.
