Children's Resilience Initiative
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) along with recent
community-wide adversities have left children vulnerable
to long-term mental and physical health challenges.
This video series is designed to help you understand the impact of trauma, how it affects children and youth, and what you can do to support them. It shares practical personal self-care and well-being tools so you are better equipped to make life changing differences for a child.
We can make a difference.
The adults and especially the children in our communities need support and we can all contribute positively toward the creation of healing environments. Children are often the most vulnerable population during times of adversity.
By equipping the caregivers with the critical guidance needed in order to enhance the quality of care, we aspire to improve the mental health, physical health, resiliency, academic achievement and overall well-being of youth in our communities.
This resilience-focused initiative is designed, through an online heart-centered series, to provide parents, educators and youth-serving organizations with essential tools needed to create healing and supportive environments where even the most vulnerable children can rise and thrive.

The Children's Resilience Initiative is designed to be watched in a group setting or as an individual. We are here to support you through the experience as much or as little as you prefer.
