Round One: 80 Local Businesses
Receive $1 Million in Grants
Aaron Rodgers, the Chico native and NFL star quarterback, contributed $1 million to the fund to help small, locally owned businesses in Butte County. Eighty businesses received significant help in the first round of funding.
Aaron is hosting "Jeopardy!" for two weeks starting April 5. A donation from the show will augment a second round of grants.

To fuel healing and compassion for a better world.
Through grantmaking, partnerships, financial and philanthropic services we are the North Valley’s hub for social change. We help individuals, families, businesses and nonprofits maximize their impact on the local and global community.
There have been some incredible people who have jumped in to help (after the Camp Fire) and it starts, in my opinion, with the North Valley Community Foundation -- raising millions of dollars, out there assessing the needs of our communities in real time and finding the best places to help.
