Message to Donors

The Veterans Garden Project grows plant starts in their greenhouses and provides free plants to veterans from Butte, Glenn, and Tehama counties for their own home gardens, as well as supplying produce directly to veterans from VGP gardens.

Fund Purpose

To provide an multi-faceted program for U.S. Veterans, treating symptoms of PTSD with hands on experience of greenhouse management, organic gardening, growing and distributing plant starts to the veteran community, and serving as a knowledge resource for veterans and their families in growing their own food.
