Teichert Ponds Restoration Foundation
Fund Purpose
To educate the public, as well as promote and fund the restoration of the Teichert Ponds as a passive recreation area, nature study preserve, and water detention site.

Plans to improve the ponds were purchased with redevelopment funds from the state and approved with permits granted to do this restoration. These funds were disrupted by the state and little progress has been made since 2006. An estimated $2.6 million will be needed to do these improvements. The Teichert Ponds Restoration Foundation has generated funds to build a kiosk explaining the ponds, future site development, and posted pertinent information.
