Circles of Justice

Restorative justice focuses on repairing harm through mediation and open communication. Offering schools the alternative use of restorative justice benefits not only the youth but also parents/guardians and educators. One goal of restorative practices is to empower youth and affected parties teaching them valuable communication skills that translate into the classroom and home environment. It also gives youth practical experience in accountability, restitution and justice for their transgressions and guides them through life skills classes that create different futures.
