Butte County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Endowment Fund

Fund Purpose

The primary purpose of the Fund shall be to establish a permanent endowment fund that provides an ongoing annual distribution to Organization for as long as the Fund and Organization exists. Distributions will primarily fund the training and equipment costs of the BCSAR team so the members may focus on their technical rescue and search skills and callouts rather than worrying about funding their team's needs.

Butte county Sheriff's Search and Rescue (BCSAR) is an auxiliary unit of the Butte County Sheriff's Office. The team is all-volunteer and on call 24/7. Our donor-funded team relies on community contributions to continue our excellent work. There is no charge if you require the technical resources of BCSAR; we train continuously to ensure the safety of the Butte County residents. Your contribution to the BCSAR endowment will ensure the viability of our team for years to come and will help fund technical rescue trainings and the maintenance and purchase of rescue and search equipment.
