The Susan E. Williams Scholarship recognizes a graduating
senior who exhibits an interest in pursuing their passion, whether in the
Arts or otherwise, and demonstrates a financial need. One recipient each
year will receive a $500 award.
The purpose of this scholarship fund is to honor Chico High Class of 1988 alumni that are no longer with us by providing a current Chico High graduate an opportunity to pursue their educational potential.
The Chico Women's Club awards scholarships every year to graduating senior girls, who generally go on to attend Butte College. We also provide a venue for community benefit events, whether produced by non-profits or groups or individuals, on available Sundays for $80. We serve the community by supporting the arts and education through various events, including Bioneers, Bidwell Mansion Holiday Open House, Tellabration!, Weaving Women's Wisdom, Death and Dying Support, Table Tops, Care to Share Tea, Ebony & Ivory events and an annual quilt raffle, among many other activities.
To assist young people who display a passion and talent (in the sport of golf) and are in need of financial help to pay for golf equipment and attire, travel and lodging expenses, and entry fees to junior tournaments.
Since 1986, HACE has annually awarded scholarships to students who have demonstrated academic excellence, creativity, leadership, and involvement in the Hispanic community. In addition to financial support, the scholarships provide recognition from the broader community which instills self-esteem, self-confidence, and the desire to achieve. Recipients of HACE scholarships have gone on to pursue a wide variety of productive careers.
The purpose of the Jesse Kohen Memorial Fund is to provide a scholarship to CSU, Chico students working with special needs students. In addition the Fund hopes to provide other services and equipment to enhance the experience of special need children in the community.
