Until the Week of Giving
We hope you and your loved ones are healthy and safe during this pandemic that has altered the lives of so many!
One group that has been directly, and significantly impacted are foster children and youth. Already in a vulnerable state many foster children are still seeking safe refuge in stable, supportive, and nurturing homes.
Children in foster care face challenges we cannot imagine. Since 1986, Mountain Circle Family Services, Inc., a foster and adoption agency 501(c) (3), has been serving these foster families. As an organization, we are dedicated to providing quality social services to these children who need our help, now more than ever.
Support can come in many different ways, from simply letting a foster parent vent about their day, to purchasing new bunk beds for a pair of siblings, etc. Funds raised at Mountain Circle deliver core support to all of our programs; including, although not limited to, resource parent education, necessary purchases: bedding, clothing, furniture, etc., youth mentoring, and our annual Ski / Snowboarding (Mentoring) trip. Every day we serve an average of 70 children and 45 families.
Mountain Circle is also the proud host of two different fundraising events: Running with the BearsTM Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K and the Bear Growl Gravel Grinder, a bike ride including paved and gravel routes. Both of these events were created to aid us in being able to provide our various services and programs.
Thank you for your time and consideration, we hope you find this event to be worthy of your support!
