Until the Week of Giving
For over 50 years, Community Action Volunteers in Education (CAVE) has connected Chico State students with our excellent community partners. Our student-volunteers gain valuable leadership experience while filling in critical gaps within the greater Chico community.
CAVE’s Kids Programs serve children ages 5-17, including those who are physically, emotionally, and developmentally disabled. We work with Chico Unified School District and The Boys and Girls Club of the North Valley.
Our Community Connections Programs serve various social, recreational, and educational needs for a wide range of clients in the local community. This program includes working with Chico City Parks, the Torres Shelter, the Esplanade House, local animal shelters, and several senior care facilities in the Chico area.
We also help organize community-wide days of service.
CAVE often has to turn away volunteers and programs because we exceed our valuable resources. That’s why we hope you will consider donating to us. Thank you very much for any help you can provide.
The mission of Community Action Volunteers in Education (CAVE) is to provide meaningful volunteer opportunities to Chico State students, develop student leaders, and serve a broad base of community needs.
