Chico Police Department Foundation - H.E.L.P

The HELP (Homeless Evaluation Liaison Program) seeks to identify homeless people who have a desire to return to their support system but need help with transportation. Officers will contact the person’s support group and ensure that they are willing and able to assist them upon their return. The officer will then assist the person by purchasing them a bus ticket home. The program is run entirely from donations and has assisted many people to return to their families after finding themselves homeless in our community.
