Fund Purpose
Reading Pals is a local literacy campaign started by community members who recognize the importance of reading and the implications that illiteracy will have on our community if the problem is not addressed.

We are committed to providing every child who does not currently read at grade level an opportunity for an excellent education through one-on-one time spent with a community volunteer working with a specific reading curriculum to help them improve their skills. Readings Pals aims to see every child enter 7th grade reading at grade level, equipped with the tools they need to learn and to engage as citizen steward of their community.
