To provide families and individuals with financial donations to assist after a house fire or loss of life.

More Info

The Chico Firefighters Association L2734 established a fund in the name of Ray Head. Ray Head is the only City of Chico Firefighter to have died in the line of duty. On February 14, 1970, while fighting a fire at the Silver Room, a bar on Third and Broadway, Ray Head perished protecting the lives of his men. He served our community for over 40 years. This fund was established in his memory to assist members of our community during their time of need following a house fire.
