Fund Purpose

Amma Culture is a nonprofit 501c3 organization dedicated to understanding of the African American culture in schools and communities throughout the north state. This fund is focused on raising $11,000 for producing banners, poster displays and other materials for distribution to schools and public libraries heralding the African American culture and history. It is called the African American History Library Project and will include presentations in schools

Our aim is to inspire young minds to take pride in and have respect for African American history and contributions of the African Diaspora, from ancient times to the present, in order to provide a sense of belonging and identity, as well as improve social cohesion among all youth.
