Our goal is to provide a results oriented dialog to help gain knowledge and insight into our evolving Biomass challenge. By exploring alternative mitigation and reduction strategies via practicum, we strive to educate the next generation.
A Maker's fund was established to raise money to provide low income families in Butte County with the opportunity to explore STEAM activities; Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math at A Maker's Space in Paradise California.
Funds will be allocated in the form of Scholarships to low/no income families within Butte County to allow them the opportunity to utilize A Maker's Space lab.
Volunteers and financial sponsors are critical to the success of this program. Our high school anglers need the opportunity to get on the water and apply the skills they learn! Individual or corporate sponsorship are greatly appreciated.
LEAD is a program dedicated to providing educational opportunities to at -risk students’ grades 7-12 in order to prepare them for college and career. These funds will be used to help students transition into the workforce, move on to college or vocational schools.
The Susan E. Williams Scholarship recognizes a graduating
senior who exhibits an interest in pursuing their passion, whether in the
Arts or otherwise, and demonstrates a financial need. One recipient each
year will receive a $500 award.
