The Butte County Office of Education (BCOE) created the BCOE Employee Disaster Relief Fund to provide a one-stop location where individuals or organizations can provide monetary support directly to the employees of the Butte County Office of Education.
The purpose of this fund is to centralize giving that will be used to support the affected employees of Butte County Office of Education who have experienced catastrophic loss.
We provide a annual street dance and 4th of July fireworks show in our small community of Biggs that is attended by families from outlying community’s.
We promote these events in the hopes of getting families to spend a fun night together.
The Butte County Office of Education established the Butte County Schools Long-Term Recovery Fund to provide a centralized location for individuals and organizations to financially support students and schools impacted by the Camp Fire. Funds collected will be used for programs and services that help restore “normal and routine” activities to school communities and student lives.
The Nico Play Area in Caper Acres is in desperate need of shade sails. The shade sails will help to protect children from the sun's harmful UV rays. The shade will also help keep children and parents cooler so longer play times can be enjoyed by all! The shade sails will also help to protect the play equipment resulting in significant cost savings in maintenance and replacement.
The Champions for Seniors is a group that consists of representatives from a variety of service providers that aim to address gaps in services and the needs of Seniors, while also focusing on outreach efforts, fundraising strategies, possible donors, and a possible annual ask event.
