The course will offer anyone of any experience level a chance to solve the real issues their organizations face, regardless of the size of the organization. You don't have to be a tech-geek to enjoy this class
What is needed to increase the visibility of your organization on the Internet? This class is taught by Donald Peterson, a training specialist serving Northern California. “I believe that emerging Internet software, coupled with enhanced self-teaching tools, can help volunteers, staff, executives and board
members increase fundraising and improve charitable work,” states Peterson. “This course will provide new ways of and methods to communicate the organization’s story to increase community awareness and financial support.”
Participants will learn ways to improve fundraising, special events, direct mail, and major donor efforts. Re-invigorate your charitable mission by improving communications, marketing and fundraising efforts with low-cost, easy-to-use Internet software. Whether it is techniques for research or tools for advocacy, the modern state of the Internet provides a multitude of resources that improve nonprofit objectives.
The training will take place from 8:30AM-12:30PM on Monday Nov. 10, in Chico, in The Training Place at the Butte College Chico Campus. The cost of this training is $60 per person.
