North Valley Nonprofit Council Meeting
All local nonprofit organizations are welcome to attend the next quarterly meeting of the North Valley Nonprofit Council, Wednesday, March 12. This will take place at the Market Café in Chico, 1387 E 8th Street, from 2:30 – 4:30 PM and is free.
A presentation on "Trumpeting your Mission, Service and Successes; Web Technologies for North Valley Nonprofits,” will be made by Don Peterson, web technology expert. The group will also hear from several local individuals who have created organizations to provide international aid in developing countries. In addition, time is available for all in attendance to share with the group relevant information on their services or upcoming activities. Food and beverages are provided, along with plenty of time for informal networking.
The North Valley Nonprofit Council (NVNC) is dedicated to protecting, strengthening, and promoting nonprofit organizations. The Council’s mission is to promote, strengthen and advance the influence professionalism, accountability, and effectiveness of nonprofit organizations in a manner that builds their capacity to accomplish their missions. The goal of the Council is to provide a forum for Nonprofit Executives in North Valley to exchange ideas, challenges, and solutions to the various issues they face.
