This training is designed to help new staff and board members and veterans alike. The course will show how boards can reinvigorate their purpose and their processes. It will also provide information on how to improve interaction with fellow board members and key staff. For Executive Directors, this course will provide information on how to effectively partner with boards and committees, and build a team that will take their organization to the next level. Specific training topics will include roles and responsibilities, powerful meetings, recruitment of boards, board life cycles and board-staff relations. This training will be of benefit to both staff and board members of local nonprofit organizations, regardless of size.
