&quot;Collaboration as a Grant Strategy for Small Non-Profits in a Highly Competitive Environment&quot;<br /> <br /> This four hour course is designed to assist local smaller non-profits in securing outside funding through partnerships with other organizations to secure funding for innovative and collaborative new projects that will help your non-profit stay viable and grow  in these difficult economic times.  How to access the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Obama Administration Federal Economic Stimulus funding) will be presented.  Case studies will be reviewed.  A successful funding proposal will be shared.  Real- time writing activity and group networking will be included.  Surviving in 2009 and beyond is the goal of this presentation!<br /> <br /> Juri Brilts is former CEO of a county-wide  United Way social service agency; CEO of a Sacramento non-profit arts organization; and City  of Chico Arts Commission Chairman. <br /> <p> &nbsp; </p>
