Roseanna Galindo-Kuhn is Director of Volunteer Services at Enloe
Medical Center in Chico. She received her Master’s Degree in
Organizational Communication from California State University, Chico
where her thesis work focused on volunteerism and volunteer
organizations. Prior to graduate school, she worked as a volunteer
administrator in both California and Oregon. She was director of
volunteers for both a national conservation program and a local
grass-roots youth mentoring program. Her experience in these settings
led to observations of volunteer satisfaction that impacted the limited
resources of these types of agencies in their recruitment, retention,
and recognition efforts.
