The session emphasizes the understanding and use of the five dimensions of five volunteer satisfaction as the basis for developing volunteer programs/placements that enhance organizational capacity by making the most of the volunteer experience.  The content will be delivered using a combination of methods, including lecture, interactive excerise, handouts, and powerpoint slides that visually illustrate key concepts. Roseanna Galindo-Kuhn is Director of Volunteer Services at Enloe Medical Center in Chico.  She received her Master’s Degree in Organizational Communication from California State University, Chico where her thesis work focused on volunteerism and volunteer organizations.  Prior to graduate school, she worked as a volunteer administrator in both California and Oregon.  She was director of volunteers for both a national conservation program and a local grass-roots youth mentoring program.  Her experience in these settings led to observations of volunteer satisfaction that impacted the limited resources of these types of agencies in their recruitment, retention, and recognition efforts.  8:30AM - 12:30PM Training Place (Room 107) at the Chico Campus of Butte College
