We are pleased to announce the January 4, 2008 launch of the California Cultural Data Project (California CDP). This project is the most ambitious and comprehensive effort ever to gather and analyze information about the contributions of the cultural sector to California's economy and quality of life. During the coming year, applicants to many California grant programs will be asked to participate in the California CDP.

July 26 2008 The Torres Shelter is having a Christmas in July car wash and yard sale. It is held from 9-3 at the shelter 101 Silver Dollar Way  Great time to support the shelter, get your car washed and purchase some great deals on Christmas decorations.Santa will be there from 9-1

The shelter will be holding a car wash at the shelter on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 9-3  through the summer.

The Community Housing and Credit Counseling Center will offer their regular Homebuyer Workshop, on Saturday July 26, 2008.  The workshop will take place at 1250 Humboldt Road from 9-3.

This workshop is sponsored by the City of Chico.
