The Enterprise-Record is seeking photos for a new feature on Mondays: Community Snapshots.

With only three staff photographers, many newsworthy activities in our communities go uncovered. Help us see those events and activities get the coverage they deserve by submitting your photos for inclusion in our new weekly feature.

It will work like a community scrapbook with photos of community-oriented events. For example, photos could include community-service projects, guest speakers at club meetings, special awards being presented, pictures of fund-raising events, school projects and more. Just make sure there are people in the photo.

Send a high-resolution JPG file with an accompanying paragraph about who and what is in the photograph to snapshots@chicoer.com.

Sorry, we can't accept photos involving businesses, unsafe activities, private events such as weddings, family reunions, engagements or anniversaries, or pet pictures.
